According to a top UAE government source on Wednesday, ransomware assaults are being launched by cybercriminals via ChatGPT. The usage of ChatGPT in some ransomware and phishing assaults was an emerging trend at the beginning of the year. According to Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity, UAE Government, “we researched this with our partners, and the discovery is pretty apparent that attackers are employing that more and more. In his keynote address on the second day of the 6th CSIS Cybersecurity Innovation Series Conference in Dubai on Wednesday, he said that attackers are creating tools that use several features of ChatGPT. “Some of the ransomware programmes are added and reprogrammed using ChatGPT.
